It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorraine Caissie, 93, on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Grand-Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Jacqueline Gaudet (Arsenault).
Lorraine will be sadly missed by her daughter, Gisèle (late Jean-Paul) Arsenault of Grande-Digue; her grandchildren: Natasha (Mark) Cormier, Jean-Luc (Chantal) Caissie, Kim Arsenault (Pierre Leger), and Marie-Paul Arsenault (Tommy Clements); her great grandchildren: Vanessa, Adèle, Maxime, Malec, Elodie, Caleb, Michel, Kaitlyn, and Kayla; her brother, Merville Gaudet of Grand-Barachois; her sister, Marina (late Bernard) Bourque of Shediac; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Régis; her son, Ronald (Cecile) Caissie; as well as her siblings: Marie-Rita (late Blair) Leger, Ulric (late Jeanne), Aquila (late Dorine), Edgar (Emerise), Léo, Irène (late James) McFadden, and Stella (late Camille) Doiron.
Visitations will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, from 2:00pm until the time of service. The funeral service will take place in the chapel at 4:00pm.
