It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jean-Paul LeBlanc, 78, at the Albert House Hospice on March 28, 2023. Born in St-Anselme on March 3, 1945, he was the oldest son of Noël and Noëlla (Belliveau) LeBlanc.
Jean-Paul worked as a bricklayer and still worked at times with his youngest brother Jean-Pierre. Jean-Paul loved his family greatly. He had a great sense of humour and loved to tease his family and friends up until the very end. He also liked the outdoors as he used to hunt and still loved to fish. He still fed the ducks in the yard every day.
He was a kind soul and will be greatly missed by his sisters, Norma (Alphé) Landry, of Memramcook, Marguerite LeBlanc of Saint-Lambert QC, Suzanne LeBlanc of Dieppe, Ginette (Donald) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Charline (Bo) Steuernol of Ontario, and Caroline LeBlanc of Dieppe, also his brothers Conrad (Ann-Marie) of Dieppe, Joel of Moncton, Rodrigue and David of Dieppe and Jean-Pierre (Lisa) of Moncton. He also had several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and one brother Michel.
As per request by the deceased, there will be no visitation and the funeral mass will take place on Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the St-Anselme Catholic Church on Amirault Street, Dieppe. Interment will be held later in the parish cemetery.
The Family would like to express a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to the Albert House Hospice staff (nurses and doctors) for their excellent and compassionate care of Jean-Paul.
