Dieppe, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ernest Albert Williams, on November 23rd, 2024, at the Moncton Hospital.
Ernest was born in Manchester, Jamaica and immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1972. After 30 years as a professional driver for the Toronto Transit Commission, he and his beloved wife, Marlena Williams, retired and moved to Dieppe, New Brunswick.
Ernest was a loving and devoted husband to Marlena and a father of five children. He also leaves behind three sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support during this difficult time. They are also eternally grateful for the exceptional care, love and support provided by the staff at the Moncton Hospital.
A gathering to celebrate Ernest’s life will be held at Passage Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Saturday, December 7th, from 12 noon to 3 pm.
