It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrée de Montigny, 86, on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024, at the Villa Providence in Shediac.
Born in Montréal, she was the daughter of the late Herménégile de Montigny et de feu Berthe Gagnon.
Andrée will be missed by her daughters, Catherine Laratte of Grand-Barachois and Monique Bourque of Bouctouche; her stepdaughter, Robin Wlochal of Ontario; as well as her nephew, Marc-Oliver Charbonneau of Montréal.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Wilfred Wlochal; as well as her siblings: Louise, Hélène, and Pierre.
A special thank you to the staff of the Beausoleil unit at the Villa Providence for the great care and support they provided.
Donations in memory of Andrée can be made to the Providence Foundation or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
As per the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation, and no funeral service.
