It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alvin Caissie, 81, on Thursday, October 24th, 2024, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent.
Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Harry and the late Irène Caissie (Collette).
Alvin will be sadly missed by his surviving wife, Bernadette; his children: Roberta (Jean-Ronald) LeBlanc of Saint-Grégoire and Paul (Alcia) Thériault of Bathurst, and Louise ; his grandchildren: Dayna, Jenna, Rémi, Tanya, and Mélika; his great grandchildren: Quinn, Brooklynn, and Chloie; his brother, Roger (Thérèse) Caissie; his sisters: Marie-Rose (Melas) Collette and Emma (Ronald) Melanson; his nieces and nephews: Rose-Marie, Annie, Jackie, Shantay, Marie, Louis-Marie, Roger Jr., Morgan, and Shane; as well as his four fur-grandbabies.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Arthur Caissie.
Visitations will take place at Grace Church (41 Girouardville Rd, Bouctouche) on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, from 2:00pm until 3:00pm. A funeral service will also be held in the church at 3:00pm.
Donations in memory of Alvin can be made to Parkinson Canada or to the family.
