It is with great sadness and deep loss that we announce the passing of our dear Mom, Aline LeBlanc, of the Moncton Residence. She passed away on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, after a brief illness at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital in Moncton.
Born in Egmont Bay, PEI, on August 15th, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Glorice Cormier and the late Julitte Bernard.
She will be greatly missed by her six children: Janet LeBlanc (Howard) of Moncton, Alan LeBlanc of Toronto, Nancy LeBlanc (Ron) of Shediac Cape, Gisele Bourque (Kent) of Riverview, Diane LeBlanc of Riverview, and Francine Grift (Jason) of Quispamsis; nine grandchildren: Nikolas, Ricky, Alex, Ryan, Stephanie, Daniel, Renée, Natalie, Randy, and Daniel; six great grandchildren, Remy, Lucas, Adam, Hilary, Franco, and Kio; along with Mom’s special friend, Henry LeBlanc of Moncton.
She is also survived by her siblings: Eva Richard, Yvonne Pitre, Albert Cormier, Yvon Cormier; and her sister-in-law, Sr Marie-Thérèse LeBlanc.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gérald LeBlanc in 2006; an infant son, Ti-Paul; her sisters: Anita and Marianne; her brothers: Louis, Léo, Marc; and Father, Eddie.
Aline was a serious and avid card player. Everyone had to be ready to lose as she could remember every card laid, and therefore, every card in other players hands. She also loved music, reading, singing, and dancing. She could always be found playing Bingo or working on a puzzle. This is what kept her mind very sharp and witty right up until the end of her life.
Special Thank you to Dr Bernard Godin, to Respiratory Therapist, François Gaudet and to LPN David, who showed so much compassion and care for our mother.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. George-L.- Dumont Hospital Foundation.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe). A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, October 28th, 2024, at 11:00am.
