We announce the passing of Ilda Cordeiro Fernandes Barbosa on Thursday, August 31, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Ilda is now reunited in heaven with her husband Carlos (2002).
She is survived by her children Margarida, Carlos (Tina), Elizabeth (Emanuel), and Joe (Mitchiko). Proud grandmother to Chrissy, Adam (Jessica), Andre (Amanda), Simon (Kayla), Matthew (Ashley), Sarah (Troy), Jacob, Jonathan, and Michael. Adoring Great grandmother to Tristan, Kaleo, Magnus, Cameron, Cali, Leia, and Bethany.
Ilda will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Avenue W.) on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be celebrated in her memory in the funeral home following visitation at 1:00 p.m.
Burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Avenue W., east of Caledonia Road)
