Ian Boudreau
Ian Boudreau, beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many, passed away tragically on July 15, 2024, in Truro, NS. He was born on October 23, 1998, in the town of Antigonish, NS to parents, Brad and Lisa Boudreau, whose pride holds no bounds for their son. Ian’s departure has left a void that can never be filled, and he will forever be missed by those who knew him.
Ian was a man of deep compassion and kindness. He was the life of the party and the best dancer at family gatherings. He was adored and cherished by his nieces and nephews. Ian was a loyal and unforgettable brother, was resolutely devoted to his wife, Jennifer Boudreau and his two fur babies, Abbey and Sadie, with whom he loved spending everyday life.
He had many adventures on the open dirt road with his friends and his father-in-law, Tony Archibald. Ian was the biggest supporter of anyone that he held dear. He loved playing paintball with his friends, taking his pups to the lake and gaming with his friends, brothers and nephews. He created and ran his own business and was also a devout employee of Berry’s Furniture for several years. Ian loved life and worked hard, recently buying a new house for him and his wife.
Ian leaves behind many left to bear the world without him including, but not limited to the love of his life, Jennifer Boudreau (Abbey, Sadie) who will be waiting to see him in her dreams; his parents, Brad and Lisa Boudreau; brothers, Gregory Boudreau (Marsha, Ellie, Dawson, Sophia), Taylor Boudreau (Meghan, Bane, Koal) and Alex Boudreau; his father-in-law, Tony Archibald (Juanita Whidden); mother-in-law, Amanda Munroe; his sisters-in-law, Brandice Munroe-Churchill (Mark, Skyleen) and Courteney Archibald and brother-in-law, Steven Archibald (Brittany).
He also leaves behind his grandmothers, Marlaine Boudreau (Gus MacDonald) and Mary Richards; cousins (but better known as siblings), Ashley Boudreau (Adam, Jordan, Jayden), Jessika Boudreau (Tyree, Treyvon, Alliyah), Marcus Boudreau, Zachary Boudreau (Nicole Boudreau) and beloved aunts and uncles, Brian and Lauralee Boudreau, Vernon and Nicole Boudreau (Keirsten Boudreau), Janice and Sid Boudreau (Dillen Boudreau, Shelby Boudreau), Jason Richards (Nathan Richards, Rebekah Richards and Robert Richards (Dalton Richards)).
Ian was predeceased by his Uncle Billy Boudreau; his Pup, Vernon Boudreau and his Pup, Barry Richards, all of whom will welcome him with open arms, singing to George Jones. His grandmother-in-law, Bernice Deal; stepfather-in-law, Sterling McRae and grandmother, Bentie Richards will also be waiting for Ian at the gates of heaven.
A celebration of Ian’s life will be held on Sunday, July 21st from 1-2pm for immediate family and from 2-3pm for friends both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS.
