Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the age of 76 years. Butch Omand, of Port Bolster, beloved husband of Judy (nee Oxtoby). Dear father Brian Omand (Sarah Miller) of Port Bolster and Tracey Winn (Dave Winn) of Sutton. Loving Papa of Catherine (Brandon), Emma, Nolan and Colby and Great Papa of Charlotte. Dear brother of Bonnie Griffiths (Ted) and brother in law of David Holt. Predeceased by his siblings Marilyn, Susan and Marshall. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends including Mary Kingdom. Butch and his wife Judy were former owners of Dixie Lee Restaurants including Sutton where they made the best fries and gravy in town. He was a jokester and enjoyed humour with his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Butch’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements in care of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton. Memorial donations to a Brain Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
