Obituary of Helen Martha Fraser
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, wife and grandmother Helen Martha (Lennon) Fraser, 79, of Springville on December 18th, 2024 at home with her family by her side.
Born in New Glasgow on September 10th, 1945 to the late Margaret (Pitts) and Harry Lennon.
Helen enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, sewing and reading her Bible. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, always offering a cup of tea and some sweets. You never left her home hungry.
Helen will be missed dearly by her husband of 60 years, Albert; daughters Mary (Jeff) Greene, Donna Fraser, Yvonne Cameron, Joanne (Billie) Ferguson and daughter-in-law Jennifer (Ron) Fraser; brother Howard (Camay) Lennon; sister-in-law Edna Lays; grandchildren Chris, Tasha (Matt), Sarah (Trent), Steven and Nick; 2 chosen grandchildren Josh (Amy) and Chris (Jillian); 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Helen was predeceased by her son Albert Jr., a brother Ronnie Lays and son-in-law Donnie Cameron.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22 , 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 10 am in Eagles Funeral Home Chapel with Father Peter MacDonald presiding. Burial will be in Our Lady Of Lourdes Cemetery.
