With heartfelt sadness, we announce that Helena Wall (Froese) passed away peacefully on March 19, 2023, when her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ called her home, she was 64 years old. Marlin Wall, her husband of 31 years was by her side. Helena was born to Peter and Margaret Froese of Warman on November 3, 1958 and was the oldest of three children.
Helena will be forever loved and missed by her loving husband Marlin Wall, her dad Peter (Margaret) Froese, brother William (Charlotte) Froese, nieces Tracy, Kaylee, Robyn (Jordan) Loewen, Savannah, and nephew Alex. Her sister Marie (Dan) Klassen and nieces Alicia (Keenan) Regehr, Hazel, and McKayla (Jeff) Nickel, Sofia, Ezra. Helena was predeceased by her mother Margaret Froese and her in laws Peter and Tina Wall.
Helena was baptized upon her confession of faith by Bishop John D Reddekopp in the Warman Bergthaler Church in 1977. Helena met Marlin at College and careers and they were married on August 17, 1991.
They lived in Saskatoon for the first years of marriage before moving to their house in Warman. Marlin and Helena attended the Bergthaler Church in Martensville, where Helena served as a Sunday school teacher for 35 years, and together they served as a care couple for the last 12 years.
She has touched many lives. Helena battled numerous illnesses during her lifetime and even as she struggled with tongue cancer, the most painful of all, she continued to serve God faithfully as best as she could.
Helena enjoyed spending time with family and friends, theatre, long walks, gardening, tending to her flowers and yard, sewing, camping and was quite competitive when playing games. She was meticulous in whatever she did and always did her very best. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A viewing will be held Saturday, March 25th, 2023, 7:00 p.m. at Martens Warman Funeral Home, 402 Central Street West, Warman, SK. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 26th, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 206 2 Street, Warman, SK. Interment to follow at Schoenwiese Cemetery.
