Heinz Karl Triebe of Kitchener, and formerly of Listowel, surrounded by his loving family, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 3, 2023, in his 91st year.
Husband of Helga (Heinen) Triebe. Father of Ellen & Keith Ament, and Harry Triebe. Grandfather of Michael & Michelle Ament, Jennifer & Katie Nadlin-Ament, and Christopher Ament, and great-grandfather of Alexis, Mikayla, Paige, and Scottie. Brother of Horst Triebe, Gisela Kliemann, and Hans Triebe. Predeceased by his parents Karl & Martha Triebe, and brother Herbert Triebe.
Heinz was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who had a remarkable journey over his 91 years of life. From growing up in East Germany to moving to Canada with his wife and two children, seeking a new life. He was always a pillar of strength and a beacon of unwavering values, instilling in his family the virtues of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of helping others. His strong work ethic and enduring legacy have been passed down through generations, and his love for travel, his laughter-inducing antics, and his kind spirit have left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Heinz will always be remembered for his sense of humour, his loving nature, and the lasting impression he left on those fortunate enough to know him. A private family service will be held.
