Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 (13 Adar A I 5784), at the age of sixty-four. Devoted sister of Rabbi Elizabeth (Liz) Bolton. Funky Auntie Heidi of Doriya and Amy, and Isaac Buddy. Daughter of the late Irwin and the late Rebecca Ruth Bolton. Heidi will be missed by her friends like family, Marilyn Gilbert, Randi Margolis, and Shari Blanshay, and by her extended family and friends. Special thanks to the incredible Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at the Jewish General Hospital, K6 and ICU, for their compassion and kindness.
Heidi was the boss of her life and lived it fully. She had a larger than life personality, and loved karaoke, Tweety and Sylvester, and Star Trek, to name a few. Everyone who knew Heidi loved Heidi, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Graveside service from Paperman & Sons. Burial at the Knights of Pythias Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay. The family will be receiving visitors following burial at Congregation Dorshei Emet, with Shiva continuing in Ottawa. Please check back later for the funeral and Shiva dates and times.
