Heber Lester Sturge was reunited with the love of his life Maisie Sturge (Hunt) on December 22, 2024.
Left broken hearted are his daughters: Sheri Hayward (Tim), Cheryl Sturge (Adam); and his four grandchildren who he loved and adored: Chloe, Megan, Parker & Colton. He also leaves behind his sisters: Breta and Clara; brothers: George (Rhoda), and Harold (Lillian); and Heber’s little buddies: Kevin and Mark; his companion Marcia Snook; her children: Colin (Sophie) and Ryan (Janelle); and their children: Emily, Owen, Alana, and Mason.
Predeceased by his father Samuel Sturge; mother Mona Sturge; his bonus mom Mereda Sturge; and brother Cyril Sturge.
Heber had a huge circle of family & friends including Baxter, Morgan, and his little fur baby Jessie who were his buddies till the end.
Dad, to say you will be missed is an understatement and there will be a void so insurmountable that no one could fill it, but after 21 years we will have to take comfort in knowing that you are now back in the arms of mom who we know was there waiting for you.
As per Heber’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 commonwealth Avenue on December 26, 2024 from 11am-1pm and 3pm-9pm. Service will take place at Barrett’s chapel on December 27, 2024 at 2pm.
