Obituary of Heather Lynn Penny
Penny, Heather L – age 65, of Conquerall Bank, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024
Born in Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Keith and Luetta (Lantz) Joudrey.
Heather is survived by her husband of 43 years, David Penny; her son, Jonathan (April) of Conquerall Bank; two grandchildren, Anna and Aidan Penny; her sister, Allison (Kevin) Mossman of Canning, and her brother, Stephen (Patricia) Joudrey of Dartmouth.
Heather worked for Superstore for 25 years, she was an active volunteer for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Conquerall Bank Fire Department and a coach for Dave’s Multisports.
Heather loved to spend time with family, friends and most of all her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. You would often find her swimming in the pool, baking up a storm or working in the garden. She always had a smile on her face and was a joy to be around. She will be missed by all.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home in Bridgewater. A non-formal celebration of life will be held on November 30th at 11am at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Steet, Bridgewater. Please, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the IWK or the Cancer Society.
