It is with great sadness that the family of Heather McLeod (Wilkins) announce her sudden passing on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the age of 63. Heather was born on June 18, 1961 the daughter of Sylvia (Pagett) and the late Crandall Wilkins in her beloved town of Sus. She was one of six children: Dwight Wilkins (Ann) of Markhamville, Tom Wilkins (Charlene) of Salisbury, Lorraine McKinney (Gary) of Apohaqui and the late Andy and Lori.
Heather will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 25 years Robin Moulton; her cherished children Emily (Kevin) Brown and Patrick; her 11 nieces and nephews Melissa, Katie, Corey, Adam, Shawn, Tyler, Timmy, Mandy, Lacey, Mandy, Jason and many great nieces and nephews. As well as Robin’s immediate family, and her many close friends and neighbors.
Heather is predeceased by her father Crandall Wilkins, grandfather Russell Wilkins; grandmothers Olive and Mary Wilkins, aunt Vondelle Perkins and siblings Andy and Lori.
Heather went to college later in life and worked as a PSW where she cared deeply for her residents at the Orchard View Nursing Home. Heather accepted everyone with an open heart and open arms. She had a free spirit, infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. She enjoyed nature, fishing in the brook each spring and taking care of her garden. She was always offering clippings of her beautiful flowers and a cup of tea.
Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her wide-network of community. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and asks that you make contributions to Canadian Blood Services in lieu of flowers and contribute by sharing memories of our beloved Heather.
A celebration of life will be held in the Spring. She will be laid to rest with her father at the Knox United Church Cemetery in Markhamville, Sus Parish, Kings Co., NB.
