Peacefully at Matthews Hospice in Alliston on Thursday, October 12 at the age of 55. Beloved wife of Danny for 32 memorable years. Caring Mother of Cooper (Lauren) & dearest son, Scott. Cherished daughter of Isabelle and the late Dean Anderson. Dear sister of Neil Anderson (Michelle) Mary McLean (Jim) and the late Scott Anderson. Heather will be greatly missed by her close friends and relatives.
Heather cared with a heart and soul that exceeded human capacity. She personified what it meant to be brave, loving, outgoing & charismatic. Her bond with Danny exemplified love, connection and trust. Her relationship with Cooper and Scott will be a forever-lasting connection that can never be broken, a bond that can only exist between a mother and her boys. Heather’s adventurous, curious and driven spirit will flourish in the lives of the people she encountered in her journey of life.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville Saturday, Oct 21st, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In memory contributions to the Matthews House Hospice in Alliston or the Credit Valley Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Heather in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
