It is with great sadness the family of Hazel McAnsh announces her passing. Hazel passed away peacefully at home on July 1st, 2024 in her 99th year. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Clifford. Her Father Ernest and Mother Vesta Hinan. Also her brothers Douglas and Joseph Hinan, and niece Mary Ellen Fleming.
Hazel also leaves behind many cherished friends.
Loving and Caring Mother to Dale (Wendy) and Doug (Lori) McAnsh.
Grandchildren Andrew McAnsh (Stacey) and Amy (Shayne) Jerome.
Great Grandchildren Ashton and Cheyanne Jerome.
Sister Mary (Bruce) Lillie, Brother LaVerne (Maureen) Hinan and Sister-in-law Mary Hinan Grose.
Nephews Mike (Margie) and Dean (Pam) Lillie, and Niece Tamara Hinan.
Hazel was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan rarely missing a game. She also liked to watch The Toronto Maple Leafs, curling, and enjoyed bowling. In her earlier years she loved to play a round of golf…
Her favourite pastimes was rug hooking, and knitting.Everyobe had the pleasure of having one of her beautiful dishcloths and towels..
Hazel will be sadly missed by all the lives she has touched along the way.
A Memorial Service will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N. Cambridge, on Sunday August 11th at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
