Harold Jackson Maddox – age 77 of Knoxville passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023. U.S. Army Veteran. Harold was an outstanding electrician and a car enthusiast.
Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Corrine Maddox; brothers, Jack, Travis, and Lamar Maddox; sister, Faye Arms; and special cousin, Don Maddox.
Survived by wife, Carolyn Maddox; son, Corey Maddox; daughter, Suzanna (Josh) Paris; grandchildren, Weslee Ann, Barrett Jackson, Jayden, Bryson, Hunter, Addison, Garron, Hallie, Kanon, and Loghan; brother, O.C. (Martha) Arms; and sisters, Ann (Dennis) Brogan, Teresa Arms, Sandra (Mike) Duncan, Pam (Don) Burkett; and DeeDee Madd0x; and special cousins, Neil, Gail, Billy and Joe Maddox.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Michael Arms officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45 AM on Friday at East TN Veterans Cemetery-John Sevier Hwy. for a 10:00 AM interment. Military honors will be provided by Volunteer State Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vanderbilt Pediatric Rare Disease Center at give.vanderbilthealth.org in honor of Kanon Paris.
