Cathcart, Harley Allen
Harley passed away on September 6, 2023, founder of Harley Transport, lover of Belgian Horses, Holsteins, Steam Engines and Mack Trucks. Beloved husband of the late Joyce (2007). Special father to Jane of Cobourg, Ann Andrews (Mark) of Springville and the late Mary (1983). Grandfather to Ashley (Wil) and Liam, Hayley (Steve), Carleigh (Jarrett), Kelcey (Julian) and Courtney (Zinedine), father-in-law to Lorie Cathcart. Brother of the late Dorothy White (Lorne) of Port Hope, the late Mayme Bell (Bob), the late Donald and the late Manson. Special friend of Dorothy Bremner. Member of Springville United Church for 69 years and bell ringer for over 50 years. A private family graveside burial was held as per Harley’s wishes. Harley was the author of his obituary.
Donations to the Salvation Army or Five Counties Children’s Centre are appreciated.

My sincere condolences to the family, friends and the community, for their loss. Although I never met Harley, I’ve heard many wonderful stories about Harley through my closest friend Beth, as well as from Jane Cathcart. May he rest in peace.
