Young, Hannah peacefully at the Village of Wentworth Heights, Hamilton Ontario, on Thursday January 25, 2024. Hannah Young (nee MacDonald) of Southampton at the age of 100.
Wife of the late Peter Young. Dear mother of Bonnie Barbour (the late Doug Barbour). Loving grandmother of Michele DeDobbelaer (Darren) and Kim Barbour. Proud great grandmother of Stephanie Sholer (Steve), Eric DeDobbelaer, Camryn DeDobbelaer and great great grandmother of Avery and Abby. Hannah will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many beloved friends in Southampton. Predeceased by her parents Peter & Annie MacDonald and by her son Peter Jr.
Hannah was very dedicated to her community supporting the Hospital Auxiliary, Chantry Centre for Seniors and her Church.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Hannah Young will be held in the Chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, at a later date.
if desired, memorial donations may be made to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or to the Southampton United Church.
