It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Hannah on May 2, 2024 at the tender age of 22.
Deeply mourned by her parents Catherine and Emile, James and Natalie. Hannah brought light and laughter into their lives and continuously made them proud.
As a sister to Grace, she shared an unbreakable bond, woven with love, support and endless memories.
Hannah will forever hold a place in the heart of her soul mate and beloved boyfriend Ben, who shared in her dreams, laughter and love.
Beloved Granddaughter to Wally and Carol, Cathie, Hanne and the late Alfie, Joanne and Maurice.
Cherished niece to Christine and Steven, Julie and Steven, Lori, Julie and Domenic and Bonnie.
Will be deeply missed by cousins Jordan, Sidney, Lily, Anthony, Emily, Claire, Nolan, Jeremy and Taylor.
Hannah will be sadly missed by her many friends and extended family, especially Renee, Bob and Matthew and most of all, her Squad!
Hannah was a dedicated nurse at WRH Ouellette Campus on the Neurology Floor and loved her 8th floor team and patients. Her radiant spirit touched countless hearts and her passion for nursing and helping others left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Pereira, Dr. Hare, Dr. Das, and Dr. Goffi at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto and a very special thank you to the Trauma Neurosurgery ICU staff, especially Alyssa, Marcy, Jade, Michelle and Liz for their compassion and wonderful and dignified care of Hannah.
In a final act of selflessness, Hannah saved lives through organ donation, providing hope and healing to many people in need. Her legacy of compassion will continue to live on in the lives she has touched.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 2pm-5pm and 6pm-9pm at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor. Nightingale Nursing Tribute to take place at 7:30pm. Service to be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers and to mark Hannah’s immeasurable contribution to the community, a memorial scholarship is being established at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Nursing.
