With her family by her side, Greta Dolores Butler of California
Settlement, NB, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of
July 13, 2024.
Greta was born in Lerwick, NB, on July 2, 1939. She was the daughter
of the late Wilmot and Idella (St. Peter) Barclay. Greta leaves behind
her daughters, Dolores Kinney (Lee) of Caribou, ME, Kathy Till (Eric)
of Beaconsfiled, NB, Martha Ouellette (Mark) of New Denmark, NB; nine
grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; her brother Donald
Giberson (Margaret) of Vancouver Island, BC; her half-sisters, Trudy,
Donna, and Sheila; her sister-in-law, Linda Butler of Perth-Andover,
NB; along with several nieces and nephews.
Greta was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Butler; her
son, David Butler; her grandson, Craig Alton Till; her great
grandchildren, Brendyn and Braydyn; her sister, Diane Clark; and her
brothers, Brian Barclay and Wilmot Barclay Jr.
Resting at the Amazing Grace Church in Limestone Siding, NB, with
visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Thursday from 12-1
pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 1 pm
from the Amazing Grace Church. Pastor Roy Dee officiating. A private
interment will be held at Sunset Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
would be appreciated by the family.
