Rigole, Gregory (Greg) Victor (August 14, 1966 – September 15, 2024)
It is with great sadness that we, the family of Gregory (Greg) Victor Rigole, wish to announce his peaceful passing at his late Toronto residence, on September 15, 2024, at the age of 58. Greg was born in Tillsonburg, son of the late Victor Vital Rigole (January 13, 2023) and survived by his loving mother Marlene (Mauthe) Rigole, of St. Thomas. Greg was a software engineer who did freelance work for several companies throughout his career. Greg was diagnosed at a young age with juvenile diabetes. Greg didn’t let diabetes slow him down, he lived a very active and fulfilling life. Greg could often be found walking quite long distances around Toronto and he enjoyed taking photographs on his walks. Greg is survived by his caring sisters Shelley Rigole, of St. Thomas and Roberta Rigole, of St. Thomas. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation has taken place. Friends, relatives and neighbours are invited to attend public visitation on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. Private Funeral Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, in the funeral home chapel, by Rev. Fr. Seejo John, of St. Mary’s R.C. Church. Inurnment follows in Tillsonburg Cemetery.
