It is with heavy hearts that the family of Greg South announces his passing at the Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto on Thursday November 23, 2023 at the age of 69.
Beloved son of Joyce South and the late Larry South. He will be lovingly remembered by his life partner Linda South. Much loved father of Jessica (Sajjad) and Heather (Drew). Cherished grandfather of Jonah. Dear brother of Brenda South (Hugh) and Nancy South. Predeceased by 1 brother Kevin South. Also survived by 2 nephews Jack and Evan and by 1 niece Fiona.
Greg was a natural Outdoorsman, a skilled carpenter, a loving father, son and brother. He was compassionate and genuine and loyal to his own beliefs. He was true to himself.
The family will receive friends at Tompkins Funeral Home on Saturday December 9 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Memories, Stories and Reflections will take place at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
