December 17, 1958 – February 27, 2023

Born on December 17,1958, in Trepassey at the Albernathy Cottage Hospital. Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle of cancer, with loved ones by his side, on February 27th, 2023, at his place of residence in St. Johns NL.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick Halleran and Theresa Halleran (nee Molloy), his Aunt Bride (Halleran) Fitzgerald and Uncle Fred Fitzgerald. Uncle Frank Hayward. Aunt Margaret (nee Murphy) Molloy and Uncle Kevin (Rocky) Molloy, where he got his nickname ROCKY. Uncle Raymond Molloy, Aunt Bridget Molloy. Elizabeth (Betty nee Morry) Halleran and other loved dearly departed members of Halleran and Molloy families.
Survived by his son Luke Terris, granddaughter Alaina, Chilliwack, BC.
Also, His brothers David (Theresa), Gerard, Derm (Marie), Ronnie (Lori).
Sisters, Sandra (Clifford Nichol), Kelly (Rodney Winter), Marie (Micheal St.Croix).his Uncle Dermot Molloy ,Aunt Linda,(nee white) Molloy.
5 nieces, Amanda (Brad), Patricia (Robert), Pateresa (Derek), Sherelle (Kyle) Laci.
2 step nieces Jennifer (Keith), Shannon (Mark).
7 nephews Shawn (Roseanne), Joshua (Emily), Mitchell (Ashley), Phillip, Michael Douglas, Jessie, Noah.
4 step nephews (Toby Nicholl deceased), Derek Nicholl (Sherry), Shane Furey (Kim),Patrick Furey (Kendra ), as well a number of great nieces and great nephews, &1 great great nephew, A large number of extended family ,relatives and friends.
Also, Rocky will be terribly missed by his beloved childhood friend, cousin, like a brother to him, Paul Halleran. Paul has always been a great loving loyal true friend to Rocky always. They have a legacy together. They both helped each other endless times during their lives. They grew up together, and in their late teens ages Paul 18 and Rocky 19, left Trepassey traveled (hitch – hiked) together across Canada and down in United States, lived and worked together ,and many life stories are to be told.
Once while he was working in a mine, on a job site, where another workers life was in danger, and Rocky bought the man to safety, he had saved the mans life. Rocky was very modest about the whole incident but was well recognized for his heroic actions.
Also, His dear beloved Friend Eugene (Gene) Thomas a long time friend as well, whom spend endless days and nights with him, from when Rocky came home from BC right up to last day before Rocky passed away. He will be terribly missed. And last but not least his dear beloved friend neighbour Ben, and friend Larry, who will miss him terribly. All their memories will be forever in their hearts.
Cremation at his request, Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road from 12 noon – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

We know, that if he knew we made an obituary for him, and will have this celebration for him, he would say to us, … “You’re all off your heads.”
