1936-2023
Our hearts are saddened to announce the passing of Gordon
Kenneth Hallett, of Peel, at the Central Carleton Nursing Home in
Hartland on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Gordon was born April 4, 1936
and was the son of the late Kenneth and Reta Hallett. Besides his
parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Hazen Hallett, Regina
Thomas (Murray), Blair Hallett (Helen), George Hallett
(Betty), Malcolm Hallett; son-in-law, Jeff Hatfield; and
brother-in-law, Ron Smith.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife of almost 66 years,
Joan (Foster) Hallett of Peel; children, Brian Hallett (Dixie) of
Lansdowne, Lynn Hatfield of Somerville, Neil Hallett of Peel;
grandchildren, Chad Hallett, Lance Hallett (Jennifer), Gillian Budrow
(Chris), Krista Hatfield, Ian Hatfield (Ashley), Jesse Hallett
(Ashley), Jodie Hallett (Megan); great grandchildren, Zander Hallett,
Chloe Hallett, Brianna Hallett, Maddex Budrow, Malcolm Budrow; sister,
Jen Smith of Alberta; sister-in-law, Juanita Hallett of Somerville;
nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from
1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the Hartland Wesleyan Church, 115 Somerville
Road, Somerville, NB. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
with Pastor Brian Murray and Pastor Dave Wilcox officiating. The
interment will be in the Upper Brighton Cemetery at a later date. If
so desired, donations to Every Home For Christ or ShareWord Global
would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the care of the Britton
