Gordon’s Obituary
The family of Gordon Toope announce the peaceful passing of their dad on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 76 years. He leaves to mourn with many wonderful memories his children; Karen (Ivan), Darryl (Nicole), Michelle (Joey) and Sherry (Randy). Grandchildren; Michael, Stephanie, Andrew, Jennifer, Ryan, Gordon, Tyler, Zachary, Matthew, Mitchell, Deirdre, Deborah and 12 great grandchildren. His sisters; Linda (Bucky) and Sharon (Jerry). also leaving to mourn are many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Gordon was predeceased by his wife Phyllis, parents Reuben & Agnus, brother Doug and grandson Dwayne.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the dr.’s and nurses of the ICU Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook with special mention of heartfelt thanks to Matthew and Leslie of the ICU Unit.
In keeping with Gordon’s wishes cremation will take place. There will be no formal service at this time.
