Gloria Jean Kusich – born in Morgantown, WV on November 29, 1955 went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in Knoxville, TN. Gloria loved the Lord with all her heart, and as sad as we are to see her go, we know she is home with Him now. She was selfless, and would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it, never asking why. To family and friends, she was one of the best people to know. She worked as a phlebotomist for Fort Sanders for many years, and then transitioned to the roll of an in-home caregiver. She was loving and cared for everyone she met. She loved to quilt, cook for her family, make wreaths. More than anything else, she loved her grandkids. She never missed a chance to tell each and every one of them how loved they were. That is something they will always carry with them.
Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Pete Kusich; brother, Pete Kusich Jr.; and son, Jonathon Robinson.
She is survived by mother, Donna Kusich; sisters, Patty (Keith) Hilpert and Margie (Bill) Swanger; sister-in-law, Alma Jean Kusich; son, David (Dana) Robinson; grandchildren, Megan Freas, Morgan (Grant) Ford, Mason (Brandon) Robinson, Matthew (Megan) Robinson, Michael Robinson, Milam Robinson, and Maya Robinson; as well as, her great grandchildren, Jimmy Ford, James Freas, and Gracie Lee Ford.
Friends and family are welcomed to join us as Rev. Bob Zavattieri says a few words about this cherished and wonderful woman.
