It is with great sadness that we, the family of Gloria Dillon, announce her passing on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Gloria was pre-deceased by her parents, Edward & Helena Ryan; her sisters, Kay (Alex Mouton) and Josephine and her brothers, Edward (Nellie); Gerald (Joan) and Jim (Hilda. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her husband, Albert; son Barry (Doreen); daughters, Alberta (John Ennis) and Denise (Greg Martin); and grandchildren Lawrence, Emily, & Cara. She also leaves behind members of the Ryan and Dillon family, her sisters-in-law, Marjorie and Pauline (Jim Gorman), Myrtle Dillon, and Viola Norman and brother-in-law, Ronnie Dillon and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special mention to her Home Care workers, who she referred to as her “precious angels”. Visitation will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. -4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Parish, Patrick Street, St. John’s. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date.
Gloria and Albert will be having a funeral service on Friday, September 22, 2023 in Caul’s Chapel LeMarcahnt Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
