Obituary of Glen Pargeter
1951-2023
Glen passed away peacefully at the Arnprior Hospital on Thursday, February 23, 2023. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, son of the late Cyril and Joyce (nee Benner). He was predeceased by his sisters, Linda Gardner and Christine-Anne Flynn, and his dear friend Larry Chateauvert. Glen is survived by his partner Norma Bulmer and her children Terri-Lynn Veale (Peter) and Richard Bulmer (Roxanne), his son Kaelen McDonald (Kendra), and his grandchildren Holly (Drake) and Justin Veale, and Luka McDonald.
Glen graduated from Streetsville Secondary School in 1969 and joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Finance Clerk (Accounting) until his retirement in 1981. From 1981 to 2018, he worked in various trades and became a favourite handyman in the town of Arnprior. He was also an expert delivery driver for Domino’s and was proud to count his coworkers among his friends.
He will be fondly remembered by friends and family for his quick wit and his love for fishing and being outdoors, especially at the trailer on White Lake.
His final care has been entrusted to the
Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd.,
50 John Street North, Arnprior.
