It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenn Gibbons on September 17, 2023. Brother to Lynn (Chris) McLean, Dean, Leslie (Darren) Wilson and Brad (Shelly). Uncle to Tyler (Kassie) McLean, Jason (Izzy) McLean, Josh (Abby) Gibbons, Emily (Ken) Higgins, and Mackenzie Wilson. Great Uncle to Arabella and Emmett. Predeceased by his parents Martin (1995) and Lois Gibbons (1994).
Glenn was a free spirit who lived his life one day at a time. He spent many years volunteering at The Sanctuary, an outreach community program, in Toronto. His family would like to thank Donald and Lorraine for always being there for him. Although he struggled with his own life, he was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He will be remembered for his love of food, his long texts with emojis and photos, and his nervous giggle.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service or visitation. Condolences may be left at www.aftercare.org If desired, donations may be made to The Sanctuary in memory of Glenn. donate.sanctuarytoronto.ca
