With great sadness, the family of Glenn Kenneth Bishop announces his sudden passing on Friday, January 12, 2024 at his childhood home in Chipman, NB. Glenn was born in Chipman, NB on June 28, 1946 the son of the late Kenneth and Bertha (Stilwell) Bishop.
Glenn had retired from Grand Lake Timber after a fruitful career as a Millwright. He was also a licensed welder for many years. Glenn was an avid hunter and lover of wildlife and being in the woods. His most favorite place to be was in Bronson or Gaspereau with his loving wife Melissa. Glenn loved to hunt moose, be on his four-wheeler and share his knowledge of the best homemade moose call with his grandchildren.
Glenn leaves behind a legacy of love to his children, Tamara Bishop and Subrina Bishop; his baby-girl, granddaughter Grace Barton, his beloved grandsons, Taylor and Lucas Barton, Carter, Logan and Liam Currie; sister Lynn Boudreau and daughter Gwen (Anthony) James. Glenn will be forever missed and loved by his faithful partner in crime, Melissa or “Lou” who was by his side through every adventure and every moose hunt. Glenn is also survived by a special nephew David Fowler and special niece Tanya Bishop.
A Celebration of Glenn’s life will be held at the Chipman United Pentecostal Church on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be made in the Chipman United Pentecostal Church Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Glenn made to the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights (info@firearmrights.ca or 1-844-243-2237) are appreciated.
