Our world has lost some of its sparkle.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Giselle Maggiacomo, a beloved wife, mother, entrepreneur, and friend, who left this world peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and community that will be treasured forever.
Giselle will be missed forever by her devoted husband of 48 years, Bruno, and their two children, Lina (Franco Campanella), and Daniel (Vanessa), and her cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Matthew, Zoey, and Gemma who were the light of her life.
She will be remembered by her siblings, Marcello (Liliana), and Claudio (Robert), and held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
Giselle was a radiant presence whose warmth and compassion touched everyone she met. She glistened in every room she entered and had an innate ability to bring joy to those around her. We will remember her for her kind eyes, her warm smile, her incredible fashion sense, and her generous heart.
To honour Giselle’s memory, guests can bring white flowers to the visitation.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, June 28th, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 29th , 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). Please be advised that the entombment is reserved for family members only. We thank you in advance for respecting the families wishes at this time.
