With sadness, we announce the passing of Gio-Batta (Tito) Dean on September 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Cherished husband for 66 years to Adelia and beloved father to Claudio (Nancy) and Michael (Cindy). Proud nonno of Matthew, Nicholas, Lauren and Madison. Predeceased by his brother Ernesto, he will be missed by his nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret of Scotland Church (222 Ridley Blvd. – Avenue Rd., south of Wilson Ave.) on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (Bayview Ave. & Langstaff Rd. – south of Highway 407).
In memory of Gio-Batta, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
