Caron, Gilles «Froggy»
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gilles Caron, affectionately known as «Froggy», on December 2, 2024, at the age of 74.
Gilles was the beloved husband of the late Barrie Zimmerman and a devoted father to Michel Caron (Natalie Lamarche). He was a cherished brother to Diane (Cliff) Morin, Linda (JR) Davenport, Claudette, Guy (Nancy), Guildor, Lorn, and Alyre Caron. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Damyen, Jade, Devin, and Michelle Caron. He will be missed by his sister-in-law Patricia. Gilles will forever be in the hearts of his many nieces and nephews as well as his lifelong friends who were and are his second family. Gilles was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and Leonard Caron, and his brothers Lucien and Gaetan Caron.
His warmth, kindness, and good humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, he will forever remain in our hearts, fondly remembered by his family and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Gilles would be greatly appreciated by the family.
