Gezina “Sini” Van de Vorst – Berrens
April 8, 1934 – July 12, 2023
Sini passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at the Stirling Heights Home in Cambridge, Ontario at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her first husband, Geoffrey Van de Vorst and predeceased by her second husband, Wayne Berrens. Beloved mother of Mary-Lou Burns and her husband Frank and Jeff Van de Vorst and his wife Debi Thompson. Dear Oma to Scarlett Campbell and her husband Jon and Simon Van de Vorst. Great grandmother of Finley and Anneke Campbell. Loving sister of Jan Geurds (Marianne), Gerard (Hannie), Ben(Corrie), Will (Anita), Ida (Toon), Mieke (Bart) and Marij (Thijs). Predeceased by her parents Herimina and Henricus Geurds and her brothers Theo Geurds (Corrie) and Henk (Josine)
Resting at McKersie & Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends on Friday July 21, 2023 from 5-8 pm. The funeral service will take place in the funeral chapel on Saturday July 22, 2023 at 11 am. Private cremation will follow. Guests are invited to stay for a reception to follow the chapel service.
