It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerard McDonald announce his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton, NL on Sunday February 12, 2023 at the age of 76. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Pauline; children: Barry (Berlinda), St. Alban’s, NL, Lewis (Dianne), St. Alban’s, NL & Tina (Todd Roberts), St. Alban’s, NL; grandchildren: Brianna McDonald, Amber Roberts & Tyler Roberts; sisters: Margaret Collier, St. Alban’s, NL, Rita (Larry Morris), Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Susan Baker, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Ann Dollimont, Medicine Hat, AB & Theresa (Gerard Organ), St. Joseph’s Cove, NL; brother: Calvin McDonald (Mabel), St. Joseph’s Cove, NL; sister in law: Betty MacDonald, Medicine Hat, AB as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his; brothers: Jack MacDonald & Richard MacDonald; sister: Eva Collier; brothers in law: Gordon Collier, Abraham Organ, Nicodemus Organ, Jim Dollimont, Noel Baker & Larry Collier; sister in law: Maude McDonald. Funeral service on Thursday February 16, 2023 at 2pm at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, St. Alban’s with Father Patrick Osuji officiating. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
