SHAPERO, Gerald – On Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Gerald Shapero, beloved husband of Lesley. Loving father and father-in-law of Robert, Dana and Mitch Collin, Elka and Raffi Machluf, Eyal Fishman, and Janna. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Edward and Suellen, and Arthur and Fern. Cherished Papa of Ty, Daniel, Jerren, and Zoe. He will be missed by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Dalia Frieman, and Ziva Frieman and the late Paul Katz. He will also be missed by his many friends. Memorial donations may be made to the Association for Soldiers of Israel-416-783-3053, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation at 416-489-7111.
The family will be sitting two separate Shivas.
Following the interment, Dana, Janna, and Arthur will be sitting Shiva at 89 Auburndale Drive, Thornhill. Shiva visitors are welcome on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening services will be held at 7:30 pm. Shiva concludes Sunday evening, September 18th.
Following the interment, Lesley and Eyal will be sitting Shiva at 25 High Grove Cres., Richmond Hill. Shiva visitors are welcome daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Shiva concludes Thursday morning, September 22nd.
