Obituary
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my Dad, Gerry, on May 2, 2023 at the age of 79 years of age.
Gerry is survived by his daughter, Michelle Bradley, his Grandchildren, Victoria Bradley, Tyler Bradley and TJ Bradley, his Great Grandchildren, Carson Luxford, Noah Bradley and Kayson Bradley. He is survived by his sister Beatrice Bates (Bill), brother Ken Bradley and sister-in-law Dianne Bradley, and his many nieces and nephews.
Gerry was predeceased by his parents, William and Lauretta Bradley, his son Marvin Bradley, his Granddaughter Jessica Dawn Bradley and his brother Lorne Bradley.
Gerry was a truck driver who travelled many miles over our great prairie provinces. He loved working on vehicles and spent many years as a mechanic working on his own vehicles and others for work and just for fun. He did a lot of this with his son Marvin.
Gerry was a man, that loved to spend time with his family playing cards, Yahtzee or board games. In our younger years, we spent a lot of time on baseball diamonds just throwing the ball back and forth and enjoying the sunshine. Dad loved to sing and play old time country music on the record player. He was a loving Dad. He loved to cook, and he loved to BBQ, and it didn’t matter what season it was, there could be 5 feet of snow on the ground and he would still be outside BBQing steaks for supper.
Dad touched a lot of people’s lives over the years and he is going to be deeply missed by so many. Go rest high on that mountain Dad. You deserve that view.” Written by Michelle Bradley
There will be no formal service. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Gerald may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
