Mr. Gerald Cooper, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the age of 63.
Gerald was born in Watford, Ontario and was a son of the late Ross Orville and Mary Maxine (McPherson) Cooper and his adopted parents Rene and Jean (Modde) Hottot.
Kind brother of Brenda Freer, Patty Anne Wettlaufer, Ronald Cooper, Donald Cooper, Gary Cooper, Jim Cooper and J.C. Cooper.
He will be missed by his dear friends Bob, Daryl, Jason, Pete and Tara.
Also survived by many friends, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sisters Kay Gin, Beth Lucas, Linda Dadswell and a niece Mary Dadswell.
Gerald was known as Bugsy to his family and Coop to many in the community. He was a kind, generous and caring person and a #1 Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
The late Gerald Cooper rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As dates and times are confirmed, we will update this page.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice may be left at the funeral home.
