«Jerry» Brewster – 69, of Kentville, passed away
suddenly at home on September 20, 2024.
Beloved son of Betty
Brewster, he was predeceased by his father, Gerald Brewster. Jerry
will be remembered as a kind, loving and humble man.
Jerry was a cook for
many years, then did janitorial work until retirement. He liked card
games, computer games and was an avid reader.
Although Jerry
didn’t have any children of his own, he loved and spoiled
his nieces and nephews and one great great-niece.
He is survived by his
mother, Betty (Graves) Brewster; sisters, Debbie (Owen) Keddy, Gladys
Brewster, Diane (Dave) Thomas, Mary (Peter) Benjamin and Joann (Kevin)
Nauffts; brothers, Mac (Suzanne) Brewster and Chis (Rose) Brewster;
several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like
to send a huge thank you to Rodney and Faye Potter for everything they
did for Jerry over the years and the love they showed
him.
Cremation has taken
place. There will be a private family graveside service at 2:00 p.m.
on Friday, September 27, 2024 in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill.
Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of
Nova Scotia. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the White
Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
