1927-2024
With her family at her side the passing of Georgina Catherine
Gaudet, wife of the late James Ellsworth Gaudet occurred on Wednesday,
June 5, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on
September 7, 1927, at New Waterford, NS to the late Watler and
Catherine (Kane) Grace. Georgina worked for many years at the Blacks
Harbour Hospital in the Housekeeping Department
Georgina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is
survived by her children: Gene (Jacqueline) of St. George, Sandra
Szabo (Zoltan) of Ajax, ON and Margo Wiltshire (Graham) of Blacks
Harbour; grandchildren: Angela Gaudet of Fredericton, Jim Wiltshire
(Sarah) of Miramichi and Michael Szabo (Pearl) of Oshawa, ON;
great-grandchildren: Evan, Olivia, Russell and Amelia; sister-in-law,
Mary Richardson (Austin) of Blacks Harbour and several nieces, nephews
and cousins. Besides her husband and parents, Georgina was predeceased
by her twin sister; seven other sisters and one brother. She was the
last surviving member of her immediate family.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home
(755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. A Mass of Christian
Burial will take place in Stella Maris Church on Monday, June 10, 2024
at 11:00 am with Father Abelardo Sobrado officiating. The interment
will follow in Stella Maris Cemetery. In Georgina’s’ memory,
donations to Charlotte County Cancer would be appreciated by the
family.
