Peacefully at Brightshores Health System- Owen Sound on December 16, 2023 in her 99th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Willy.

Much loved Nana to Shelby Verboven (Michael Cvitkovic)
Great Grandmother to Brooke Cvitkovic.
Treasured ‘Nana’ to 8.
Georgette was born in Mortsel, Belgium to August Van Rooy and Maria Callaerts in 1925.
Georgette knit beautiful sweaters and made lovely needlepoint cushions.
At age 90 she went sliding in the snow for her first time ever.
She was very adventurous.
Cremation has taken place and interment will be held in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kelso Village would be greatly appreciated.
