1950-2024
At his residence, July 13, 2024, Mr. George Murray Thompson
of Plaster Rock passed away at the age of 74. He was married to the
former Dorothy MacIntosh. Born at Sus, NB in 1950, he was a son of
the late Murray and Garda Loretta (Leiper) Thompson.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, two children, Kevin
Thompson and Raeleta (Matthew) Ruff, daughter-in-law, Rachel Thompson,
all of Plaster Rock, six grandchildren, Brett, Janessa, Wade, Janaya,
Janalyn and Chanda, brother Bruce (Lorna) Thompson of Carsonville,
Vonda (Phillip) O’Leary of Beaver Dam and Dawn (Reg) Perry of Perry
Settlement, as well as nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sister Norma and infant sister
Faye.
Resting at Family Worship Center, 123 Main Street, Plaster
Rock on Tuesday, July 16th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
His funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday,
July 16th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor D.R. McKillop officiating.
Interment will follow in the Linton Corner Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations to the FWC Building Fund or a
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
