GEORGE JOHN PINTO
April 23, 1942 – July 6, 2023
It is with immense sadness that we announce that George passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6th, 2023, at Milton District Hospital. His passing will be deeply mourned by his wife, Doreen Pinto. He was the beloved father of Andrea, Shelley and Keith and father-in-law of Gavin Gonsalves. He was also a loving grandfather to Maraika and Myles Gonsalves. George was the dear brother of Philomena (late Vincent), Anthony (Julie), Rita (late Michael), the late Claire, Theresa (late Nelson), and Esther (Tony). He will be greatly missed by his Menezes brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as the many nephews and nieces from the Pinto and Menezes families.
George will be remembered as a simple, humble, patient, and caring person through his impeccable life on earth. As we bid farewell to our dearly beloved George, we take comfort in the knowing that he has found eternal peace in the warm embrace of God. May his soul find everlasting glory, and may the memory of his life serve as a constant source of inspiration for us all, guiding us to lead lives filled with faith, compassion, and love.
Resting at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E., Milton, Ontario where friends are invited to greet the family on Friday July 14, 2023 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. The visitation will be followed by the Celebration Mass of Christian Burial, to be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Parish, 139 Martin St., Milton. The Rite of Committal will then follow at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, 2523 Lower Base Line, Milton, Ontario.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers the family request for a Mass Intention to be offered for George at the Catholic Church of your liking.
