It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Goulet. Peacefully at home on Monday, September 09, 2024, at age 82 years. George was a loving husband of Lucille Goulet (née Robinson) for the past 55 years. Beloved father of Jacques Goulet (Judith), Racheal Goulet (Guy) and Chantal Hébert (Robert). Adored grand-father of Kyle O’Connor, Cassey-Lee O’Connor, Mégan Goulet, Stacey Stephenson, Jessica Stephenson, Deven Stephenson, Samuel Girouard, Jérémie Girouard and Elsa Girouard. Great-grandfather of Brooke and Ayla. Dear brother of Marcel (Judy Brunet), André, Hélene (André Decoeur), Yvon (Diane Lacombe) and Gilles (Christiane Leroux). George is predeceased by his parents Rhéal Goulet and Blanche Goulet (née Rozon). Also predeceased by his siblings Jean-Guy, Denise Goulet-Seguin and Elise Goulet-Cameron. George will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews. George was a “ Gentle Giant ” to all that knew him.
Visitations will be held at the Munro & Morris funeral Homes Ltd. (114 Main Street South, Alexandria), on Saturday September 28, 2024, from 9 to 11:30 am followed by an inurnment at Sacré Coeur Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donation to Hospice will be appreciated by the family.
