Passed away peacefully. Surrounded by family on Fri Sept 27, 2024, in his 92nd year.
Beloved husband of 65 years to his wife Laurine.
Loving father of Trevor (Colleen). Terry ( Romona). Bonnie ( Denis). Robert ( Sherri).
Grandfather to Kara, Laura (Robert), Emily, Hunter and Evan. Bonus Grandfather to Kyle and Jennifer,
Shawn (Julia), Jonathan and Jeremy.
Great grandfather to Carter, Rylee, Mason, Ronan, Avery, Kamden, Jackson, Donna and Samaya.
Eric grew up in Westmeath and was a lifelong part of his community as a Firefighter, Milkman, owner of Cedar Grove Cottages and an active member of the Westmeath Seniors Club.
Eric was an avid fisherman and loved spending his time on the Ottawa River. He had a way of striking up a conversation with anyone he met and always had a great story to share. Cherished by all those who had the fortune of knowing him. Eric leaves behind a
legacy of love and laughter. His loved ones will carry his stories in their hearts for years to come.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations to the OSPCA or Westmeath Recreation Association in Erics name in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
