Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Monday September 4th, 2023 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Elda Cameron. Loving father of Helen Tomlinson (Ronny), James Dean (Suzie), Susan Hebert (Terry), Elda “Diddy” Gorecky (Mike), Katherine Farrell (Mark) and the late Leslie Dean. Father – in – law of Ida. Grandfather of Sharon, Janet, Trevor, Lance, Faron, Ronnie, Hannah, Steven, Darren, Michael, Kayla, and Braelyn. Son of the late George William Dean and Mary Agnes Welsh.
He will also be missed by his many great grandchildren and was loved by all who knew him.
Service will be held at Ross Funeral Chapel, Port Hope on Saturday September 9th at 11 a.m. with visiting one hour prior.
Memorial donations to The Alzheimer’s Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated and may be received at www.rossfuneralchapel.com
