It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Mrs. Joyce Green announce her passing on September 4, 2024 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital at the age of 90 years.
Joyce’s memory will be forever cherished by her Daughters: Ivy, Yvonne (Doug); Sons: Clarence (Lisa), Clayton (Velma), Simeon (Shirley), Darris (Kim); Grandchildren: Morgan (Gladys), Vernon (Sherrie), Todd (Yuko), Yvonne, Mitchel, Brent, Corey (Jelisa), Jason, Tyler, Maegan (Kelin); 9 Great-grandchildren; 5 Great-great-grandchildren; and Brother-in-law: Rufus Genge as well as a large circle of Nieces, Nephews. and other extended family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband: John Genge; Son: Henry Thomas Genge; Son-in-law: Bud Simms; Sister: Sophia Genge; Brothers: Lambert and Elijah Genge; Mother: Susannah Genge; Father: William Genge; and Step Father: Pius Genge.
Visitation will take place from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Anchor Point beginning the evening of Saturday, September 7, 2024 and will continue until the funeral on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Canon Vernon Short officiating. Interment to follow.
